Ingredients For Quick Caramel Egg Pudding :
- Eggs: 4
- Milk: 1 can evaporated milk
- Sugar: 4 Tbs
- Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
- Water: 250 ml
To make Caramel:
- Sugar: 3 tbs
- Water: 2 tbs
Method:
First make Caramel. Take a small pan add sugar and water. place it on low heat on a stove. when sugar starts melting stir it quickly. it will turn into nicely caramelized golden brown color. take the pan off.Preheat Oven at 200 C.In a separate bowl add eggs, milk, sugar,vanilla essence and water. Mix it well with a egg beater or by hand.Now take your baking bowl. pour caramelized sugar at the base. then add pudding mixture on top. cover this baking pot with a foil.place this bowl on a baking tray. add some water in a baking tray for steaming.Let it cook for 30 min. check with toothpick , if it comes out clean that means your pudding is ready. otherwise give it 5 min more.Now take your pudding out when its completely cooked. let it cool a little bit and turn it over onto your serving platter. pour the remaining caramel syrup on your pudding.Serve it medium hot or refrigerate it. it’s up to you.
